No Way Back – It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay

Dance music’s latest mystique talent to surface comes from the sunny climate of Los Angeles, California, goes by the name of No Way Back. Revitalizing Whitney Houston’s classic “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay” for their production debut, the masked artist project decides to enter the tricky territory of piano-driven house that has become increasingly popular thanks to talents like Michael Calfan and MK. Effectively balancing soul and simplicity, No Way Back leads the remix with a loaded key progression accompanied by two variants of Houston’s vocals – one warped, one organic – that quickly magnify the overall energy of the track. With not much information to go off of, fans of No Way Back’s first release will have to sit back and wait for further clues as to the face behind the name.
