Zimmer – Escape (feat. Emilie Adams)

“Escape,” the first single from Zimmer‘s forthcoming Coming of Age EP, has a powerfully and deliberately unique sound. The instrumental may spread tropical elements and deep tones amongst keys as infectious as anything on Radio 1, but it would be utterly foolish to call “Escape” tropical, deep, or even commercial house. Instead, the Parisian matches these ingredients with booming, echoing percussion and Emilie Adams’s endlessly elegant vocals to create a song that’s beautiful, smooth, poppy, intoxicating, and completely unforgettable. In other words, it’s exactly the kind of brilliance that we’ve come to expect from Zimmer.
