The Essential Mix hosts Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer B2B Joseph Capriati and Eats Everything
BBC Radio 1 listeners received a special treat last night with two hours of house and techno from the likes of Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati and Eats Everything. Heading to Scotland for coverage from T in the Park, the latest Essential Mix documented highlights from the Slam Tent from the annual three day festival. Described by Pete Tong as “the finest techno tent in Scotland,” the stage has hosted everyone from Daft Punk to Len Faki throughout its 18 year history.
This year’s setup was nothing to sleep on, with headliners like Ben Klock, Loco Dice, Dubfire and more. Thanks to BBC, you can now listen to a continuous stream of performances from Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer B2B Joseph Capriati, Eats Everything and the Slam founders themselves. While the mix is only two hours long and doesn’t contain their entire performances, it’s a fantastic installment nonetheless and a nice change of pace for the legendary BBC show.
