Legendary dance duo The Chemical Brothers and renowned alternative rock artist Beck (yes, the guy Kanye West trolled at the Grammys) have teamed up for a stellar collaboration titled “Wide Open” off their forthcoming album. The soothing yet melancholic track features Beck’s classic pipes dipping into a cathartic falsetto bridge that eases into a dreamy chorus line.
You can listen to the enchanting new record over on Seattle radio station KEXP’s archives. The British big beat pioneers’ new album will also include collaborations alongside Q-Tip, Ali Love, Annie Clark and Cate Le Bon.
The Chemical Brothers album Born in the Echoes will be released July 24 on Virgin EMI and is available for pre-order now.
