Though Cristoph is just barely establishing himself in the deep house scene, the quality of his work rivals his veteran counterparts. With support from Nicole Moudaber on her latest episode of In the MOOD, his newest track with Jem Cooke called “Slowly Burning” is primed to be well received by its audience. Jem Cooke’s breathtaking vocals serenade the listener with a dark and beautiful melody, while haunting strings and an ethereal cello harmony add depth. Cristoph combines these two elements seamlessly into a deep house setting, underlying the melodic pieces with light synths and a throbbing bass kick. As the track slowly fades, it suddenly makes sense why Moudaber named “Slowly Burning” as her track of the week.
