18-year-old Austrian producer filous returns with another chill house masterpiece titled “Better Off” from his forthcoming EP Dawn. The breezy summer record incorporates a grooving tempo and guitar strings over the chorus that pair magically with the subtle melancholy of vocalists Josh Roa and Bishop. The song tells a story of a lovebird’s back and forth toil of self-realization, reminiscent of Gotye and Kimbra’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” that is given its own wings thanks to filous’s authentic musicianship.
