Dancing Astronaut's Soundtrack to Ultra Europe 2015

Ultra Europe was a main stage spectacle from start to finish. The biggest names in electronic dance music spent 3 days at Poljud stadium shaking the foundation of Split to its core, flooding the streets with ravers from all walks of life and all corners of the world. Amongst all the DJs and debauchery, a handful of tracks that left lasting impression on the overall atmosphere of what has quickly become a must attend event for any traveling electronic music fan.

Martin Garrix ft. Usher - Don't Look Down

“It’s not a bad song man!” Martin Garrix collaboration with Usher may not have dominated radio airwaves as expected but the catchy and tropically touched track still makes a statement when played for a crowd of 40,000.

Zedd - Beautiful Now

The highlight of Zedd’s sophomore album, the Jon Bellion lead “Beautiful Now” marked the peak of his day 2 set.

Hot Since 82 - Play The Room

Because sometimes a silky smooth groove is all you need. Especially when all that jumping has got your legs feeling like Jello.

Tiesto & KSHMR ft. Vassy - Secrets

KSHMR crushed this one alongside Tiësto and Vassy. It’s a main stage anthem through-and-through and set the tone for a set that would include new music and a cameo from The Chainsmokers.

Lean On (Remixes)

If I had a penny for every “Lean On” remix I heard at Ultra Europe, I’d probably remix “Lean On” myself. Personal favorite: Dash Berlin’s Lost & Found In Mexico Edit.

Jebu - Consequences

Both Steve Angello and Axwell /\ Ingrosso played this SIZE Records smash.  It seems the three still share some of the same tastes. SHM REUNION TOUR!??!?!

Alan Fitzpatrick - Lexicon

Carl Cox cut the stage to shreds with Alan Fitzpatrick’s savagery. “Lexicon” takes no prisoners and the 4am crowd didn’t seem to mind.

Darude - Sandstorm (Mark Sixma Bootleg)

“Sandstorm” always does the trick.  Even more so on a European crowd who were born with Darude’s hit blasting cribside.

Alesso - Sweet Escape

Alesso’s happy house lead the charge for main stage adoption, specifically the sugar-coated “Sweet Escape” and its soaring top line.

Galantis - Runaway

What Galantis track hasn’t been a massive hit?  “Runaway” has been dominating airwaves since its release over a year ago and it continues to find a home in main stage sets across the globe.
