Feeling tired this morning? Save yourself five bucks and a trip to Starbucks, and wake yourself up with some Boys Noize. According to Beatport, Gary Richards has declared this week “Boys Noize Appreciation Week,” and Alex Ridha has returned the appreciation with an hour-long Hard Summer Mixtape.

Vacillating between thunderous techno and mind-inverting acid house, the 30-track mix gives us some insights into what Ridha has been listening to lately. He only includes three original tracks in the mix — one of which is a spacious, tripped out remix of his Tiga collaboration “100” by the Martinez Brothers. The rest of the mix serves to show what inspire’s Ridha’s specific brand of industrial, acidic electronic music.
