Marco Faraone’s ‘Black Air’ EP will make you want to jack

Founded by techno heavyweights Carlo Lio and Kareem Cali, On Edge Society was established with the goal of serving as a platform for “high
quality, stripped down jacking techno” with a definitive warehouse style that still works in today’s festival and club settings. Still in its infancy, the vinyl-only label appears to have already found that lucrative sweet spot, evident in it’s third EP release, Black Air by Italian producer Marco Faraone. The EP features two original big room drivers: the cold and pounding title track, and its percussive-heavy follow-up, “Consume.”

Also on the EP are remixes of each track by Spanish producers Regal and Flug. Regal takes on “Black Air,” ramping up the tempo and transforming it into a frenetic ride of rhythm and drums. Flug, on the other hand, creates a sexy, acid-tinged rendition of “Consume.”
