MTV green lights ‘Jersey Shore’ spinoff: ‘Ibiza Shore’
The White Isle is about to become vomit island as MTV International documents the newest cast of alcoholic reality TV characters soon to invade the dance music haven. The once-upon-a-time music network announced that a Jersey Shore-style spinoff is slated to begin filming in Ibiza starting in August titled Ibiza Shore. The wildly popular franchise managed to establish its GTL reign in a slew of other countries where MTV is shown. While there’s no word yet on appearances from the likes of Snooki or Pauly D, the new cast will consist of a medley of members from the Mexico and Spain series with “additional surprise arrivals from Italy and Brazil.”
If you dare watch, be on the lookout for frequent cameos of the island’s favorite clubs and DJs. In fact, that may be the only reason to watch.
