Prepare for Mad Decent Block Party with a two-hour Diplo and Friends mix
Mad Decent Block Party, one of the most raucous concert tours of the summer, has exploded since its first edition in 2006. The 2015 series will visit 16 US cities and two in Canada and includes an impressive mixture of Mad Decent and other superstars on its lineup. In preparation, Diplo and Friends has unveiled a two-hour mix featuring some of the talent coming soon to the block party closest to you. The genre-defying mix goes beyond classification, skipping from trap to future bass to moombahton and back again. There are some expected plays — Diplo and Skrillex open the mix, and Major Lazer and Jack Ü make up much of the playtime — but there are also surprising additions like Porter Robinson‘s ethereally glitchy “Divinity” and Shiba San‘s thumping hit “Okay,” among others.
Mad Decent Block Party tickets are still available here.
