Rudimental – Love Ain’t Just A Word feat. Anne-Marie & Dizzee (Original Mix)
Piggybacking off their first single from We The Generation, which will be released on September 18, Rudimental have given us a second teaser of what’s to come with “Love Ain’t Just A Word.” The song begins lightly, setting the base melody with warm horn samples. Anne-Marie’s voice makes another cameo, singing about love being able to change the world as the single dives right into the drum & bass sound that Rudimental have fined-tuned over the years. Later, Dizzee’s speedy rap verses add flow to the track post-breakdown, changing the sound scape as the heavy drum & bass presence re-introduces itself. Based off “Love Ain’t Just A Word” and “Rumour Mill,” which came out a month ago, We The Generation is setting itself up to be an excellent collection of top-notch, song-friendly productions that fans have come to expect from Rudimental.
