Heralded as one of the most iconic names in the European club landscape for over a decade, Svan Väth‘s impact on electronic music has been felt over and over again. Returning to BBC Radio 1 for an Essential Mix for the first time since 2010 at Amnesia, Ibiza, the German producer’s latest takeover showcases Cocoon’s extensive discography. For the two hour duration, originals on Cocoon Recordings from Boys Noize, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Phil Kieran among many others make the cut.

The mix is the latest in BBC Radio 1’s Mix Masters series, joining that of Erick Morillo and David Guetta to grace the British radio station and deliver two hours of dance music from the genre’s most reputable names.
