Watch This: Jack Ü tears up Toronto on the Full Flex Express Tour
Continuing the partnership with Yahoo Music that they successfully began with their iconic New Year’s Eve set at Madison Square Garden, Jack Ü have released a stream for the full set of their Toronto stop of their Full Flex Tour.
Much of the set is standard fare for the canon of Jack Ü performances. They open with “Take Ü There” and progress through the rest of their debut album over the course of the set, punctuated with a flurry of mainstream rap samples conjoined with a medley of Skrillex and Diplo’s favored tracks.
The stream shows any viewers that haven’t seen Jack Ü that the defining feature of each of their sets is their energy. With their hyperactive mixing style, Skrillex and Diplo manage to pack 54 high octane tracks into an 80-minute set. They match the character of their mixing with their perfectly tuned pageantry. Frenzied visuals, aggressive strobe lights, and bona fide fog geysers provide the backdrop to their mile-a-minute mixing, while live performances from Kiesza and Kai on “Take Ü There” and “Revolution” bridge the gap between rave and concert.
Any skeptics of the duo’s pervasive live energy need look no further than the footage of the crowd, whose energy exceeds even the most spastic stage productions.
