Amtrac – Hold On (Original Mix)
Premiered on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong, what could be Amtrac‘s best summer to date has continued. With a remix on Axtone, a rendition of Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s “Something New,” and a handful of originals in tow, Toolroom Records is the latest label attached to the American producer’s discography. Marvin Gaye’s “Aint Nothing Like The Real Thing” is chopped and utilized as a vocal sample, while murky synths and a prompt bassline create the original’s focal point. Over one year after Amtrac made his debut on Toolroom Records with a remix of “Dreams,” the producer’s stock has steadily risen.
