Melodic house stand out TEEMID changes his tune on Michael Canitrot’s latest release “Chemical Reaction.” While the Frenchman’s original embodied the deep house sound of now, TEEMID’s rendition subdues its peak time energy without jeopardizing the track’s dancefloor-focused appeal. The result is a shadowy after hours cut that bolsters and down pitches Canitrot’s female lead, shaking off the fat kicks for a house-focused swing. The warehouse ready bass line gets freshened up by TEEMID, who is smart to leave many of the original’s elements intact, that is before he adds a decidedly different mood to the Michael Canitrot’s return to original production duties.
