GRiZ releases ‘For the Love’ remix EP featuring Autograf, Naderi, Buku and Big Wild

GRiZ’s top notch collaboration with hip hop poet and heavyweight rapper, Talib Kweli, has just had its lifecycle extended by a stunningly eclectic remix EP. We’ve already heard the Big Wild rework a few weeks ago, but now Autograf, Naderi, and Buku join the team for the EP’s official release. First on deck is Autograf, the Chicago talents whose genre-defiant production style comes beaming through on their rendition. There’s an artistic touch to the trio’s rework, swapping out GRiZ’s future funk with a swirling cascade of delicate keys and eccentric drum programming.  Next up is Naderi, the producer who first caught our attention thanks to a future trap touch up of the infamous “Trap Queen.” In similar fashion the Aussie keeps the future flowing with a spastic collection of high pitched stutters and teeth-grinding saws. Then there’s Buku, a Pittsburgh native who brings the Steel City’s grittier side front and center on his take on “For the Love,” throwing down a powerful trap output that dismisses any “future” indication with in-your-face percussion and aggressive synth leads.
