Infected Mushroom announce new album ‘Converting Vegetarians II’ with surprising new single
Infected Mushroom are back, announcing their newest album to be released next month. Serving as the sequel to their 2003 album of the same name, Converting Vegetarians II is slated for a September 25th release and is now available for pre-order along with its first listen.
The album’s lead single is “Fields of Grey,” featuring surprising vocals from Sasha Grey. (Yes, that Sasha Grey.) However, the infamous adult star’s presence throughout the track is minimal and comes forth as distorted harmonies opposed to standard top line vocals. Longtime fans will be pleased to hear Infected Mushroom’s insignia in tact and as forceful as ever, with “Fields of Grey” giving just a taste of the edginess that the remainder of the 15-track LP will provide.
