Having already paid homage to cities such as London, Boom, Bombay, San Francisco, and Miami on a string of original mixes, Markus Schulz‘s latest is for the city of Los Angeles. More specifically aimed at Avalon Nightclub in Hollywood, the original’s namesake is a testament to the producer’s love of the city’s historic venue and the fans that have supported him. Goosebump-inducing keys fabricate the original’s melodic integrity, before “Avalon (Los Angeles)” explodes into a 132 beats-per-minute assault on the senses. Released to Beatport courtesy of his own Coldharbour Recordings, the original is slated to be a part of a monumental compilation that will include all of the originals dedicated to Markus Schulz’s favorite cities in the world.
