Martin Garrix departs from Spinnin Records and says a new project is coming

Spinnin Records, a dance music label giant that has largely championed the big room house genre and its stars, seems to have recently lost claim over their child prodigy. Martin Garrix took to his Facebook to put rumors to rest and confirm the end of his management agreements with MusicAllStars and Spinnin Records. “There was a difference of opinion between us regarding the reasonableness of the agreements,” he states in his announcement. “From the beginning of this year I tried to get back the ownership rights of my music from Spinnin Records and to keep my confidence in MAS. I am extremely disappointed that the discussions have not led to a change in the agreements or return of the ownership rights, and that is why I nullified them. ”

Notably, his management agreements with Scooter Braun were unmentioned and assumably remain in tact as he confirms his official departure from his previous contracts.

He ended his statement by teasing a hint of both new music and a new project he aims to unveil at Amsterdam Dance Event this October.
