Mighty Mouse – Dusk (Original Mix)
Be it as one half of Du Tonc or under his own sacred namesake, Mighty Mouse has not been slacking on his studio output for 2015. Where the increasingly popular side project alongside Matt Van Schie has channeled a calmer and more vocally charged sound scope from the pair, the versatile house talent has used his solo moniker to truly test the comfort zones at a time of widespread skepticism and creative cop-outs from the European circuit.
As his second installment of 2015 for Nightfilm, ‘Dusk’ marks the second of three original strikes from the Yorkshire-based producer this summer. Flowing graciously with just enough groove to keep the club floor happy, the track continues to fuse solid indie dance fundamentals with a noticeably uplifting melodic canvas. It’s a fine tune job rather than a complete overhaul of genre, but the consistency and calibre of production that we have come to associate with Mighty Mouse is once again evident in this latest piece of house gold dust from the unshakable UK talent.
