Satchmode – Never Gonna Take You Back

A bit more indie electronic than our usual fare, Satchmode “Never Gonna Take You Back,” comes following an impossibly catchy ode to Hall and Oates from the pair. The Los Angeles duo find themselves dabbling in disco this time around, pairing the twinkle of 70s Chic with their own tasty synthpop leads. There’s a dance-able rhythm just below the surface too, a nu-disco swing that conjures up images of crystal balls and platform shoes making “Never Gonna Take You Back” a nostalgic trip back to the disco era.
