Seven Lions – Falling Away ft. Lights (Original Mix)
Seven Lions, born as Jeff Montalvo, has definitely embraced his melodic side, as previously heard in his The Throes of Winter EP. In his latest, he teams up with Canadian vocalist Lights, and together they create a beautiful original mix titled “Falling Away,” out now on Casablanca Records. Montalvo reveals that fans who have seen him perform recently have definitely heard the song, but as a pumped-up festival version that will be released at a later time.
In the original mix of “Falling Away,” Montalvo highlights his ability to harmoniously meld pop with dance music. As he constructs a crescendo of flittering drum patterns, Lights illuminates the track with her radiant vocals. According to the man himself, fans should anticipate more new Seven Lions music this year.
