Monstercat regular, Trivecta, began his artistic endeavors testing out the dubstep space, which then lead him to explore the sphere of trance for a few tracks. Continuing his genre experimentation, the Tampa-based upstart heads back to the Vancouver label for a new house-based offering, “Drift Away,” with topliner Charlotte Haining. Initially leading us to believe this may be another trance-geared project, Trivecta lays down an ethereal chord progression to cloud a celestial mist around the production. When it comes to the drop, he lashes a reverberating pluck while Haining finagles her way back into the spotlight to counterbalance the bass with her lofty lyrics.
