Recently signed to Skrillex‘s OWSLA label, Los Angeles-bred production duo Branden and Jared, aka Vindata, are gearing up for their debut EP Through Time and Space… releasing on August 14. Known for filthy remixes of Ellie Goulding’s “Beating Heart” and Odesza‘s “Without You,” Vindata follow up the EP’s first single “Getting Away” with yet another genre-bending record titled “Wide Awake” featuring Kenzie May. Initiated by a Jack-in-the-box toy wind-up, singer-songwriter Kenzie’s relaxed demeanor and effortless vocal chops breed with the production’s indie R&B-hip hop-chillwave foundation for an equally commanding sophomore single.
