Ansolo signs to Island Records with new record en route
Actor by day, DJ by night Ansel Elgort is on a hot streak in both of his careers right now. Coming off winning a trophy case of awards from his performance in the romantic film The Fault in Our Stars, the entertainment double-threat follows with another win as he has officially signed to Island Records under his DJ moniker, Ansolo.
With a resume consisting of two single on Steve Angello’s SIZE imprint, a big room flip on Galantis, and main stage sets at Electric Zoo and Ultra, Ansolo will join Avicii and Yellow Claw in representing the dance community on Island’s elite roster of indie and pop artists like The Killers, Tove Lo, and Fall Out Boy. His first single will be called “To Life” and is expected to be released sometime this month.
