MTA Records has been in the business of unveiling next generation talent throughout 2015 – it’s latest offering being that of UK newcomer Braxton. Past his duties as a live cohort to Tourist, remixes for the likes of Kyla La Grande and Blonde have further kept the Brighton-based prospect in the spotlight on his own. Debuting on the label with two brand new originals, his latest A-side sets the mood for an artist rising to the task of giving the UK a more innovative calibre of house credentials.
Leaping between catchy key work and a murky melodic canvas, ’21 Days’ is a trippy groover of the highest calibre, serving up a nice example of where a house track can be functional whilst breathing fresh life into the genre. Braxton has found a sound that is simply in-tune with everything exciting about the European front right now.
