Last we had tuned in to Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, it was around his remix of La Roux’s “Uptight Downtown.” Now the universal producer — real name Martin Kierszenbaum — takes on French pop star Coeur De Pirate for a rendering of “Carry On.” Kierszenbaum, who frequently goes by Cherry Cherry Boom Boom when tasked with such remix duties, is well known for songwriting, A&R and production work for everyone from Lady Gaga to Madonna. Taking his talents to “Carry On,” CCBB practices sport on a very European flavored record and appropriately spins it with foreign nightlife twang.
