Insomniac unveils dates and venue of Bay Area Dreamstate
A few months ago, Insomniac established itself as a heavy contender in the trance world with the announcement of an entire festival dedicated to the genre, Dreamstate. Putting itself on the map with a lineup rivaling Luminosity Beach Festival, the trance family came out in full force, selling out tickets to the festival in six hours. This of course upset a large swath of fans unable to attend the inaugural event.
Seeing these reactions, owner Pasquale Rotella announced shortly after via his Twitter that there were already new plans for the festival in the works. A couple weeks later, it was announced that the Bay Area would be receiving its own edition of Dreamstate.
Details have finally been solidified: Dreamstate will be taking place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on January 16th and 17th; perfectly timed with the three-day Martin Luther King weekend. Will tickets sell out equally fast? Most likely, but at least more fans will get their chance of witnessing a piece of trance fam history.
