Justin Jay rounds out ‘Mom, I Graduated!’ EP with “Rain Dance”

Having just embarked on his first-ever world tour called the Mom, I Graduated! Tour, Justin Jay can’t be anything but happy. Along with this career-changing announcement, the LA talent comes with another piece of news regarding his next EP on his label family, dirtybird, of the same title as his tour.

The first track off the EP, “Hit It,” was a groovy yet eerie piece of house that innately balanced both light and dark moods. Now coming forth with the other half to the EP, we are introduced to “Rain Dance.” Slightly darker and much punchier, Justin Jay heads full-steam ahead with a thunderous kick line, dribbling xylophone notes, and a looped vocal that serves as Justin Jays debut performance, exclaiming “I’m gonna make it rain.” The Mom, I Graduated EP as a whole represents a milestone for Justin Jay as the young producer takes his career by the horns after graduating and is ready to dedicate the future to his career as a musician.
