Legendary British DJ Colin Faver passes away

One of the electronic music world’s most legendary figures has reportedly passed away. According to several sources, Colin Faver passed away from multiple organ failures on Saturday, September 5th; he was 63 years old.

Colin got his start in a record shop in London, England. The shop quickly founded a record label, which Colin Faver began scouting potential talent for. Clubs around Britain quickly came calling, before landing a residency at the Camden Palace which ended in 1988. House music was ascending in popularity and Faver began playing regularly at famous events like Shoom and Rage, as well as venues like Heaven and the WAG club. He was one of the founders of KISS FM and later became famous as having the station’s longest running show.

Dancing Astronaut sends our condolences to all of Colin Faver’s loved ones.
