It doesn’t get more awesome than Maceo Plex and Richie Hawtin going back-to-back from the world’s top club, Space Ibiza. The two techno titans recently collided for a collaborative performance from Hawtin’s ENTER. residency.
Armed with MIDI controllers, drum machines, and plenty of unreleased music, the pair deliver two hours of live, improvised techno. While both artists champion a very distinct style, together, their musical tastes coalesce into a organic, deeply cerebral experience. With the tracklist in a constant state of flux, the energy is taken to an even greater level with the addition the duo’s live drum and percussion samples. It’s an altogether engrossing journey, and one that we hope to see make its way stateside.
