Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival music lineup set to rival Coachella and Bonnaroo
As the rise of music festivals continues its sweep across America, a new multi-genre festival in Florida will launch in 2016 that promises a star-studded music lineup similar to that of Coachella and Bonnaroo. The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is currently scheduled to take over the 848-acre property formerly known as Sundance Trails in March with more than 80 artists, bands and DJs on five stages. The 3-day affair will boast dusk-til-dawn electronic music stage parties, camping and an eclectic lineup of classic rock, indie, alternative, electronic and folk.
Soundslinger, LLC, credited with producing festivals like Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, has been commissioned to promote and spearhead Okeechobee. “We have signed major headline artists and an amazing supporting lineup that will rival other major festivals in the United States and worldwide,” said Steve Sybesma, CEO of Soundslinger. “Our lineup will be similar to a lineup they might have at Bonnaroo or Coachella.” The lineup will be released sometime in mid-October.
Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will take place March 4-6, 2016 at Sundance Trails (which will soon be renamed to Sunshine Grove) in Okeechobee, Florida.
