Red Rocks reduces bass and sound levels even more for all 2016 events

With even more sound restrictions set in place by the city of Morrison, Colorado, iconic concert venue Red Rocks Amphitheater will soon have “virtually no bass.” Explaining the situation on Twitter, bass demigod Bassnectar – known for his annual sold out weekends at the acoustic haven – revealed that the historic site will be reducing bass and audio levels even further after complaints from the town’s surrounding neighbors.

Lorin tweets:

There will be no Red Rocks shows of any decent volume in 2016. They are gonna lower their DB level even more. We have other plans for CO…Any show in 2016 at Red Rocks will have virtually no bass. Sad but true. Other than ambient music or rock, the venue is a bust sadly :(“

But don’t fear Nectar fans because Lorin doesn’t come unprepared assuring that “we’re putting together plans for something super magical in where we can play at a decent volume and gather the freaks in 2016.”
