Watch This: Flosstradamus get Bumbershoot ‘Fired Up’ with brand new NGHTMRE collaboration
Labor Day Weekend came and went bringing a heavy rotation of performances around the country as the final summer festival events on this year’s circuit took place. Seattle hosted one such affair over the long weekend, Bumbershoot, offering a lineup packed with talent over three days. Chicago’s favorite trap lords, Flosstradamus, played to a packed arena on the second night of the event, and took the opportune moment to crowd-test some new music. The pair recently linked up with NGHTMRE, and now we have a first listen at the final product, “Fired Up.”
The track is pure big room trap, slinging battering drum patterns and hype-ready sample chops before a pounding trap treatment floods the speakers with rolling waves of low-end and knocking rhythms. Its heavy-handed, mosh-primed trap music coming from some of the genre’s most venerable talents — and one of its brightest up-and-comers. Now with a taste of what Flosstradamus and NGHTMRE sounds like on the same track, the tantalizing waiting game for an official release begins.
