Watch Kill The Noise perform his upcoming Dillon Francis collaboration, ‘Dolphin On Wheels’
Dillon Francis and Kill The Noise are kindred spirits in regards to their proclivities for combining music and humor, so it is unsurprising that they work well together, and even less surprising that their pairing results in some boldly bizarre products. The duo first publicly collaborated in 2012 to release “Dill The Noise” for Francis’ Something Something Awesome EP, a melodic, bass-infused moombahton single. Since 2013, their collaborative sights have been set in a different direction, as they’ve shifted to create warehouse-rooted and Dog Blood-inspired house under the Meowski666 moniker.
Meowski666’s 2013 debut “Meow Machine” conflated samples of mewing cats and barking dogs with erratic bass lines and vocal shots; At North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, Kill The Noise played out their forthcoming release, “Dolphin On Wheels,” which shares similar musical traits with “Meow Machine,” but replaces the domestic mammals of the former song with a more aquatic variety.
