Airwave’s newest progressive trance arrangement is almost too beautiful
When a song delivers a message without saying anything at all, it’s a mark of quality. Airwave’s”Sadness In Black and White,” part one, accomplishes this. Contemplative and sorrowful, the central motif has an uncanny ability to summon emotion and deep thought. Then, as you’re in this entranced state, the rest of the track comes out of nowhere with sweeping orchestral melodies and subtle layers. The beauty is simply paralyzing. “Sadness In Black and White (Part 1)” attests to Airwave’s incredible arrangement and production skills; the attention he draws to each individual layer make it one of the more memorable progressive trance tracks of the year. Both Parts 1 & 2 (also stunning) are available through JOOF Recordings.
