Arcadia Spectacular’s Spider stage is returning to Bangkok for Gravity Thailand 2016
Back in March, Arcadia Spectacular – the revolutionary stage design company that constructs grandiose stages using old military equipment – took charge to produce the Resistance stage at Ultra Music Festival 2015. Several months prior, Arcadia transported its flagship spider-framed stage design, entitled “The Spider,” to Gravity Thailand at the end of 2014 – marking its first touchdown in the Southeast Asia city. With its eyes set on making an even bigger splash in Bangkok next year, Arcadia Spectacular is set to return to Thailand on January 23rd for ‘The Bangkok Takeover,’ presented by Gravity.
With a capacity of 50,000 under its expansive metal legs, The Spider hoists performers up toward the center of the metal arachnid, while pyro, lasers, and music emanate from the creature’s body to envelop fans in an all-encompassing sensory experience. Gravity Thailand has already announced the first phase of its 2016 lineup, which features bass dignitaries Zomboy and Must Die!. Watch last year’s Gravity Thailand recap video below.
