Avicii stars in new PS4 game, ‘Avicii Vector’

“Levels,” among other commercial house hits, may have shot Avicii into super-stardom but the young Swedish prodigy has since maintained a record of eccentricity. Having publicly embraced country and folk, his two LPs and their unique crossover capacity have earned him acclaim as an unprecedented talent who breaks boundaries. A significant leap from his supporting role in 2014’s “Fantasia: Music Evolved,” Tim Bergling may now be the first of his kind to have an entire video game made in his name.

Titled Avicii Vector, the game was premiered at Paris Game Week and will be exclusive to the PlayStation4 console. Berg, who often discusses his history as a user of PlayStation products, described the game as a tool that adds dimension to music-making, while also employing customizable levels to simulate the feeling of playing before thousands of fans.
