Carnage and Big Gigantic team up for surprising remix of Zac Samuel’s ‘I’ll Be Pushin On’
Deep house is probably at the bottom of expected products to come from a Carnage and Big Gigantic collaboration, but believe it or not, it happened. The Chipotle gang ringleader and Colorado’s favorite jazz-electronic pair hopped into the studio to cook up a fresh revamp on Brighton-based talent Zac Samuel’s “I’ll Be Pushing On.” Leaving Samuel’s four on the floor beat and numbing melody as a launching point, the three artist strip the original’s pounding drop for a more mild arrangement with Dominic Lalli’s saxophone handiwork shining above. With the jury still out regarding this sound change up from both parties, Carnage and Big Gigantic without a doubt turned some heads with this joint effort.
