Eric Prydz’s winning streak prevails; premieres new collaboration with Rob Swire

It’s only been two weeks since Eric Prydz debuted his new Apple Music Beats One show, but in the last 14 days the Swedish tastemaker has premiered more than a dozen new tracks, in addition to having revealed initial plans for EPIC 4.0. Prydz’s second Beats One show saw the first listen of Sebastian Leger’s remix of “Opus” and a Pryda touch up of “Every Day.” Most notable, however, was the show’s opening track – what he refers to as “a bit of a curveball.” Within seconds, avid Knife Party and Pendulum enthusiasts were on the edge of their seats as Rob Swire’s stirring vocals quickly stole the spotlight. Tentatively entitled “Breathe,” the pair’s compelling effort marks the Australian musician and singer-songwriter’s first time as a featured vocalist (aside from projects with Pendulum and Knife Party) since 2008’s “Ghosts N Stuff.”
