First day of Something Wicked canceled due to ‘threatening weather conditions’
Day one of Houston’s annual Halloween festival, Something Wicked, has been canceled due to a flash flood watch that has been put into place. While its organizers are disappointed to share the news, the decision to shut down the opening day of Something Wicked was ultimately made with the assistance of local authorities and the National Weather Service. Whether or not the festival will remain closed tomorrow has yet to be determined.
