Good Morning Mix: Amine Edge & DANCE Electric Zoo Full Set
This set kills. Amine Edge & DANCE, their hip-hop house fusion set at the All Gone Pete Tong Stage of Electric Zoo Transformed this year perfectly combined that grimy funk of hip-hop with the bump-in-the-night thud of deep house bass. It transitions between a European underground techno style and throbbing bass lines laced with bursts of rap tracks and R&B vocals. Mixed in are a variety of their top hits and a gushing over flow of gangster-soul vibes.
Their fiery style of house is a combination of big-bass Funk and inspirations of hip-hop from the late ’80s. Some of their groovy track of this style include “Halfway Crooks” and their hit “Going to Heaven With The Goodie-Goodies” infused with samples of Notorious BIG. Other legends and inspirations for their tunes include Tupac, Armand Van Helden, Bone, Thugs-N-Harmony, Kenny Dope, Dr. Dre and Q-Tip. Creating their own genre, their style is unique; it’s house with attitude.
