Knife Party tease hair-raising new Jauz remix from upcoming EP
Knife Party broke a long silence with the release of their debut record, Abandon Ship, late last year. However, the full-length piece, largely satirical in nature, didn’t quell the thirst for the Earstorm honchos’ older sound. As a satisfying follow-up measure, the former Pendulum members are nearly ready to release their next EP, Trigger Warning. The title alone promises firepower, and in leading up to the release, Knife Party have teased an enticing preview from Jauz that signals a welcomed return to an older, heavier sound.
Staying true to his “no genres” mantra, the LA-based up-and-comer sidesteps his knack for bass house in his take on “PLUR Police” – a thrashing remix stacked with gargling waves of bass and sharp sirens. Following up on his high-profile collaboration with Skrillex, Jauz continues on a dominating 2015 campaign as Knife Party gear up for the final piece of a comeback that fans have awaited for quite some time.
EP will be out shortly…we’ve been held up clearing a few samples. But on the plus side, @Jauzofficial did this: pic.twitter.com/bOQOqfAfgA
