Last time we heard from Mr. Collipark, it was in tandem with Meaux Green, with their monstrous collaboration “No Discrimination.” Off Mad Decent, it had been an instant festival pleaser — so when Collipark returns, we listen up.
Now working with Atom Pushers, DJ Wavy, and the Ying Yang Twins — Mr. Collipark offers up “Booty Bounce Pop,” a frenetic electro joint that could work everywhere from house parties to strip clubs. Thorough, bulky beats tinged with highs and lows, the record comes full circle with the familiar featured shouts from the Ying Yang Twins.
