TomorrowWorld providing full ticket refunds to some fans for Sunday disaster

News of TomorrowWorld’s rainy drama this year was so widespread, it was impossible for the festival and its parent company SFX to avoid the subsequent barrage of bad publicity. Pictures of muddy festival-goers struggling on the street or sleeping on top of cars depicted a horrendous scene.

These events unfolded at a rather unfortunate time, as SFX had been (and still is) embroiled in a series of highly publicized controversies prior. TomorrowWorld therefore appears to have taken drastic measures in an effort to repair its heavily damaged reputation, at least with a portion of its guests. On the festival’s Facebook page, one fan posted a screenshot of a full refund deposited into his bank account, commenting further that his unused Pearls (festival currency) were included in this transaction and inquiring if anyone else experienced the same. It’s unclear how if all attendees will be receiving refunds, but at least some will walk away with more money than they expected for their troubles.
