More young DJs? There’s a 14 year-old scheduled to perform at ADE this year

It seems under-aged DJs have become a popular staple in the dance scene. In 2014, Aiden Jude stole headlines with news of club shows and a released single despite being only 12 years of age. More recently, 9 year-old John Anthony performed his first music festival in Tampa. Come October 14th, a new adolescent talent will be making waves with his first-ever Amsterdam Dance Event appearance.

Diego Nabban, otherwise known as DJ Diego, is slightly older than others in his category at a ripe 14 years. According to EDM Sauce, the ‘tween has been an established act for quite sometime at Desmet Studio in Amsterdam and even has his own track out called “Ping,” which sounds eerily similar to all the other tracks currently making it onto the Beatport Top 10. It’s slightly saddening to see such young people with so much potential being taught to copy generic sounds as a path to success… but good for him on landing a gig as prestigious as ADE.
