Baauer meets Jennifer Lawrence on new remix for The Hunger Games
Following in Diplo‘s footsteps, Baauer is the latest dance music giant to have his work featured in the Hunger Games series. The New York-bred production talent has been packing a highly-anticipated debut album away, and as fans continue salivating over Baauer’s impending full-length project, the “GoGo!” producer is keeping himself busy behind a new remix to go along with The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2. Remixing Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence on “Deep In The Meadow,” Baauer dials his style into a sweeping, mellow rework of the film’s original rendition.
The remix is quiet and tranquil as Baauer weaves together his signature clinks and glitches, arranging a smooth beat that draws gentle moombah inspirations into a breezy, downtempo cradler. A little outside his normal production space, Baauer showcases his range with his remix of Jennifer Lawrence’s “Deep In The Meadow” as the wait for the debut record rolls on.
