Diplo shares details surrounding new Major Lazer collaboration with The Weeknd
Last week, Diplo revealed to 103.3 AMP Radio that Major Lazer will release a collaboration with The Weeknd next April to coincide with Coachella. Fans of the dancehall trio can also expect five new tracks with the reissuing of their third studio album, Peace Is The Mission.
“We’ve got a little more gas in Major Lazer, we’ve got another single coming out,” Diplo says. “We’re reissuing that album, so there’s 5 new tracks. Then we have a new album we’re going to put out next year around August or September and a single around Coachella with The Weeknd, so that’s going to be dope.”
Having recently delivered their latest single with Ellie Goulding, “Powerful,” Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire are well on their way to paving the path for next year’s album, Music Is The Weapon.
