Good Morning Mix: The Scumfrog presents M.B.T.S. (Most Below The Surface) Vol. 1
Jesse Houk, known to fans as The Scumfrog, is a Dutch-American DJ and producer renowned for his five full-length albums and his work with David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, and Sting, to name a few. Involved in the electronic music scene since the late 90s. Having moved from Amsterdam to New York City nearly a decade ago, it wasn’t long until Jesse became a popular figure among Manhattan’s East Village – and more recently, the Burning Man community.
Though 2015 is drawing to a close, this year marks the next step in The Scumfrog’s career as he launches a new event series titled MBTS (Most Below The Surface). Intended to transcend the mainstream and to unearth the “real gems” hidden beneath the surface, Houk’s newest Wednesday party at Pravda is a ushers in a new celebration of underground dance music.
